Frank Hogenes, CTO of ITCA, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the "Hogere Economische School" in Amsterdam. He began his career at the French company, Bull Computers, as a programmer and has since worked in the retail, insurance and utilities industries throughout the Netherlands.
After 8 years of consulting in IT, Frank switched over to Albert Heijn (Ahold), a dutch supermarket giant, as an in-house system developer in the Store Automation department. In this position, he acquired exceptional skills in dealing with a highly demanding organization with more than 900 production environments and a 24/7 uptime demand.
In 2001, Frank moved to Curacao and worked as a Team Leader in the IT development team at Aqualectra, Curacao’s local utility company and one of the biggest establishments on the island. Frank was responsible for its IT development team and further honed his business intelligence skills.
Towards the end of 2007, he met Chris and together they started a pilot software project for the automation of ITCA’s lead generation process. The pilot was a great success and the first release of the application went into production in April 2008. Many releases followed and the system is now used as a company-wide CRM.
Frank now holds the position of Chief Technology Officer at ITCA, where he is responsible for all IT developments within the organization. He hopes to continue his successful endeavor in building the ITCA name, with the full support of the company.
